40 something's Dancing

last night I had so much FUN

Brad and I went to The Depot in SLC and danced for hours...

Really

we did.

It was a night for people our age to get together

and dance to the old in the day music...

I have to say it was interesting to see what everyone looked like.

Some (5%) still looked HOT,

the rest looked like what we should look like at our age.

Some of the outfits were so fun,

I wish I could dress like that

just once a year.

My daughters and I were out having fun and saw her.

We all seriously * gasped* out loud after Cat pointed her out.

You would have too, don't think you would not have.

She is bending over with her kid in a stroller, and I'm not kidding, her hair is bigger than her bottom!

I see them everywhere, we call it

" Mushroom" head.

It really does defy gravity, even with out the "bump it" that they add to it.

I bet cat 5.00 to go and ask her what hair spray she uses... We lost her so Cat didn't get to do it.

She would have though. It was like a train wreck, you had to stare at it!

We are having a BBQ today.

So I was playing with how my BLOG looked.

I kinda messed up some of the code.

Gotta get that fixed, it's making me crazy.

I have so many blog ideas in my head.

I need to get them OUT.

So I am home again. I totally love it! I'm sleeping better, we eat at home more, I don't have Sunday night anxiety, Life is good.

Now I just need to structure my time better...

I have projects, things I really want to accomplish.

Organizing, journaling, learning photoshop, learning photography, cleaning of corners.

The list goes on...

This week I am making lists.

Next week I will organize them.

Then I will work on checking things OFF the list.

So I get laid off.

Then I go shopping at DI one day.

(DI is a second hand store)

I run into Tiffany,

she and I go way back.

Long story short, I went to her house that has just had a fantastik makeover.

Right there, on the wall is this poster.

Not just any poster.

It is the perfect shade of RED.

It is just perfectly perfect for these hard times!

I have always wanted to be the normal Family.
You know the one.
The one who packs up the kids, goes to the airport and lands ready to go to
DISNEYLAND.
It's never happened.
I feel like the little boy in "the kid".
He looks at the grown up version of himself and states
"So, I'm forty, I'm not married, I don't fly jets, and I don't have a dog? I grow up to be a loser!".
I got the chance to refile my taxes, I have the money to do it!

I just need to figure out the most financially responsible way to do it.

I have been searching websites for great deals, that gets old really fast.
