So Brad and I are the lucky ones who bought Amy's fantastic, amazing camera!!

January I am going to take a Photography class with Amy! Since Brad already has a minor from the U of U in photography, I need to catch up so I can learn how to use this big bad camera, I can't wait.

I have got such a talented friend!! Can I just tell you that she has more creative talent in her little pinkie than I do in my whole self!!

So I go over there this morning and got a crash course in Photoshop, I really needed that! I am so excited about what she taught me, I only hope that I can remember it all...

I wanted a wall in my kitchen to have a collage of black and white family images. We started with just some basic shots of each of us, then she did her magic!! I wanted them to look unique, not the typical black and white shots that everyone has. What she created is sooo super fantastic!!

About 2 months ago our family had a great loss. It was our beloved hard drive. The hard drive that had all of our family photo's on it. All of our music for our ipods. All of the years of school papers and odd things that we had saved. Recipes, oh the recipes. Things I regret? Not backing up the system. Life had gotten a little crazy when Brad got sick a couple of years ago and I just didn't do it. I wish I had. I have some of our pictures on my ipod or e-mail, my kids have some on the myspace accounts. Why is it that on TV they can find people even if the laptop has been burned and driven over by a tank? We thought we took great care of ours. Here are a few of the photo's I've been able to find.

FATHER'S DAY

I got busy and didn't post about Father's Day. The girls kidnapped Brad and we went for a all day ride. Thegirlspacked a picnic lunch and some games. We went to Sundance and walked around looking in the shops, watching the artists & listening to the musicians. It was thte perfect temp outside. Catherine caught a butterfly! she even said "Mom, I am going to catch that butterfly". I of course said "yeah right". But she did it!! When we got home Brad makesome steaks on the grill and we had a great dinner! All in all it was a great day!!

the ankle

I sprained my ankle last week June 29th. Sarah and I were about to leave to go camping at Payson Lake, just the two of us!! I ruined that trip!!
Oh I almost forgot !! We got a car for JES!! It is a 1980 (yes 1980) Toyota Celica GT. It 's silver (a combo of faded silver paint and primer grey), and it's a 5 speed.
Cat is in D.C. now and says she is having fun!!
