One year later...

WOW, I can't believe that I am sitting here typing this in Seattle, we moved. It was a crazy little dream and it has become even more of a crazy little life! We actually sold our fantastic house in beautiful Bountiful UT and moved to Seattle. Yes it is more than beautiful here, but wow what a life change. I actually have been working full time since we moved last August, I have given my notice and can't wait to MOTHER my girls again. It has been a year of eating out, getting fat, and missing eachother, while living in a new state and making new friends. Not to mention, learning where things are, the mountains are still in the East, but most of the time you can't see them either because of the clouds or the hills and trees in the way. I am not saying it is bad, but where am I is my most common phrase while trying to find something. I have to use mapquest before I leave fore everything! Back to mommying, seriously, I think I really took for granted the time I have been able to spend at home raisng my daughters, not expecting someone else to. The whole " career world" is so over rated. I must admit though, if I had to work this last year, I have been in the BEST place ever. I love what I do (temporary staffing manager- recruiter), and I really enjoy who I work with. I have learned amazing things about myself and others. The office team is so supportive and we all get along so well. I miss serving my family. Making dinner. Cleaning my own bathroom, I cn't believe I said that! ha ha ha!
