SARAH

I am in Middle school!!! I am finally 12 and in YW!!!

I can't wait to go to camp!!! " I'm a big girl now"

I am in choir at school, and even did a solo in the Christmas concert. I really like being in Middle school and with the older kids, the classes are great!! I love Girl Scouts and do lots of community service with my troop. I am still knitting, getting lots better too! I have read lots of great books this year, I still like to draw and do anything creative. I am in the drama club at school, Lizzy is not the only drama queen in the family. The other thing I love to do is help out in the kitchen, I love to cook and bake with my mom.

I too still miss Utah very much and can't wait to go back for a visit!! I am sure that 2008 is gonna be a great year!

ELIZABETH

OMG!! IDK where to start!!!
I got a cel phone, yes it is a hand me down and I have to share it with Sarah and pay for it but WOW I am soooo excited about it!!!! I love to text!!!!
So everyone here says, “Heca”. Yes it is sad to say that I have said it now, several times.
I have gotten very involved at school!!! I am in honors classes(heehee), drama club(muhahaha) and am in a student leader ship association. I have learned 5 guitar cords(yay me), and I skipped school for the first time, not like that, I am not bad. It was 4 the walk-out against the war. I live in “the hood”, so I learned how to Rap (psh-eshh)!! I have learned to love the not so blond any more hair that I have( hair flip), now I get the blond jokes!! My addiction to gum has increased, yes I worked hard on that (chew~pop~ bubble). Spare time, when I am not doing homework or chores is on the computer checking MySpace, It's fun ok?
Really, I have had a pretty good year, I still miss Utah TONS!!! 2008 here I come!!

CATHERINE

This year has been a busy one for me! I lettered in Cross Country, competed in the district race and was awarded the “most Inspirational team member” award. I am an Ambassador for the Multicultural Awareness committee (MAC) in school. Helped to organize and participated in the National Student Walk out against the war. I am still involved with the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) and have gained my Sr. Airman Rank, was awarded the Wright Brothers Award and is the Color Guard commander.
At church I am the Laurel President. I love working in the Young Women's program. I have a part time job, a drivers license and a wonderful boyfriend! Sean and I have been good friends in CAP, now we are dating. He is enlisted in the Marines and will be going to boot camp this summer after he graduates from high school.
I have had a wonderful year full of new experiences and curious to see what the next year will bring.

JESSICA

So this year, I, Jessica Evan Harris graduated from high school which is a major accomplishment because high school is your “prime suffering years”. I have worked as a temp (where my mom was a recruiter last year) since I turned 17 and have earned the rank of “Rock Star temp”. I have learned many different things about office work and even had an assignment for Bill Gates, well not really. But I was able to get a fabulous pair of red patten leather Jessica Simpson pumps with a tortoise heel!!

I have made lots of friends at church, I am the Young Single rep for our little ward. Nick and I are still together after over a year of being three states apart. He gave me a promise ring at Thanksgiving!!

I have so much to be grateful for, this has been a wonderful year and I can't wait to see what next year brings.

Christmas Brag Letter- 2007

We have never been the family who sends the big long detailed "brag letter" with our Christmas cards each year. Since this is the first real Christmas away from our home town of Bountiful, we are understanding the need for them. We were usually in close contact with the people that we send cards to, they knew what was going on and I guess we didn't feel it necessary to play catch up in a card. Now that so many of our family and friends are not in our daily lives, we want to catch everyone up on what has gone on in our lives this year. Yes, this is me being humble and apologizing for making such fun of the "brag letter" that we have received from others far and away in the past.

We are going high tech! This year instead of sending the letter with the card, the bragging will be here. I have asked each of my girls to write up a short blurb about what they would like to share with everyone about last year. I am going to post them here, and put the link in the cards!

Sarah's 12!

I can't believe that my baby is 12!

She is such a beautiful, sensitive, caring young lady!

I am so grateful she is part of our family!

We had her party on Saturday evening, it was a surprise party!

Brad took her out to pick up pizza, and when she came home the house was decorated and friends and family were here!

Grandma, Grandpa, and her girlfriends.

She had Red Velvet cupcakes from the best bakery "Something Delicious".

The girls had a good time, lots of giggling, fooling around and just being girls!

Here are some pictures...
